Brilliant Gummy and Brilliant Gums
Our organic, non-GMO algae-derived colour ingredients give food and beverage producers a clean-label alternative to synthetic colourings, which face growing regulatory and consumer pressure. Our first food demonstration, a batch of algae-coloured gummy's, shows how our shades hold up in a real formulation, delivering bright appealing colour without synthetic additives. It's an early but tangible step towards clean-label food and beverage applications, and to helping the industry move away from synthetic dyes while keeping the vivid colours consumers expect.
Our platform is about more than colour. As we refine the algae to our vibrant colour dyes, we recover a protein-rich fraction with potential in human food, alongside other biomass side streams with potential applications in animal feed. Making use of the whole biomass, rather than extracting a single pigment and discarding the rest, is central to our ambition.
